Highlights & Promos

For this surprise 50th birthday highlight, I added some brief interviews into the video to add some substance and show the audience how loved this person is.
While attending summer camp for Sun Valley Community Church as a subcontractor with The Weekend Team, we created highlights from the activities and events taking place during the week.
As a volunteer on the media team, it was a privilege to capture these baptisms. The joy on people’s face as they come up out of the water is so powerful. Take a look at this baptism highlight at The Garden Church in Surprise, Arizona.
A fun project and one out of my comfort zone and niche! One of my clients wanted their ’72 Chevy highlighted.
Another highlight for high school camp for Sun Valley Community Church. This one was fun to play with the vibe of being on the beach and using different coloring with effects. The Weekend Team was contracted out by the church and I was the editor for this specific video.

Kylie’s Story

While working as a subcontractor for The Weekend Team, I had the opportunity to edit Kylie’s life-changing story at Boulder Mountain Church. For this project, I handled all of the editing.

Weekend Team – Zambia & Northrise University

Northrise University is committed to providing a professional and spiritual education to the people of Zambia. While working as a subcontractor for The Weekend Team, I had the opportunity to help capture the lives of students and people making a difference in their communities.

Listening to Joyce and Abigail’s story was an unforgettable experience. Getting to witness the impact of Joyce’s non-profit, Arising Life Ministries, has made on so many children was amazing. Because of her dedication and passion, people like Abigail are able to attend university.

Copper Hills Church

All the videos and photos in this section are projects I produced while Media Arts Director.

Working alongside Tyler to tell his story was such an honor. The prayer of my coworkers and I was to further give others hope in Jesus.

On a mission trip to Mexico, I had the opportunity to highlight the importance of getting out of our comfort zones to help those in need.

When reflecting on the paths we take in life, often we realize there were lessons along the way. I loved getting to flex some of my creativity given this gentleman’s story.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline – You Matter Blog

The Logan Daily News

While working for The Logan Daily News in the Hocking Hills region, I gained a lot more experience in news writing. These are just a few of the pieces I wrote for the local residents.

Hope Anchors the Soul

This story is close to my heart, as it is my own experience. However, through creating this video I found that journalism can be healing.

After creating this video I submitted it to two different competitions and placed fairly well for my first solo production.

Finalist in the Region 4 Society of Professional Journalism Mark of Excellence Online Feature Reporting in March 2018

Placed 14th in the Hearst Multimedia Awards in January 2018

This not only was a rewarding experience but through telling this story I believe I have impacted those who view it, which is my ultimate goal in my career – to spark change, hope and love within others.

On August 23, 2015, my brother took his life and since then it has been my mission to tell this story. Two families, who were brought together by suicide, gave each other hope and strength to continue life and move forward in the process of loosing their children.
